Well, the nomination phase has gotten off to an amazing start. Seriously, have you seen all of the Guys and Gals nominated?

We’ve promised not to tell who… but we’ve had lots of bloggers nominating themselves. And that’s cool because if you don’t love yourself, who’s gonna love ya baby?

And of course there are nominations coming in from all of y’all’s rabid fans. Wow, people LOVE their favorite bloggers. (It’s a little scary.)

But the best part is that you all seem to be as excited about this whole thing as we are. Between all of the blog posts about the calendar (so many that I have to continue this sentence just to fit them all in – phew!), the Hot Blogger Calendar buttons popping up, the tweets about the contest, etc., we have all collectively created some incredible buzz. Go us (and thank you!).

A few people have asked if there is really going to be a calendar. The answer is YES! With a real shoot party – photographers, make-up artists, stylists, DJ and everything. (Don’t worry, if you absolutely can’t make the shoot in New York City, we’ll have a plan for you to get your hot photo to us).

A lot of people have asked how they can help. We’ll definitely need volunteers for the shoot party, as well as donations for goody bags.

We’d also LOVE sponsors for flights, hotels, food, drinks, car service, clothes, etc.

Remember, we’re taking nominations up until August 25th, at which time we’ll narrow down the field based on the number of nominations for each blogger. And then the voting begins!
