LinuxJournal’s Shawn Powers and Wil Wheaton have joined the Michelle Malkin/Sara Benincasa hot blogger matchups with a standoff. The staff of the Dallas Women’s Museum apparently did nothing yesterday afternoon but vote. We’re causing nationwide chaos. GDP productivity loss numbers forthcoming.

And we’ve come to a decision. We won’t promote your nomination ourselves (Aside: as much as I want to pull for Jamie Oliver, because he called me darling and makes me week in the knees. But I’m not doing it. Because we’re objective, here, people. End aside.) and it’s getting tired, people cheering for themselves in the comments. So here’s the deal, nominees. Put something on YouTube to get people’s votes. Start a blog war. Get in the paper. Do something creative enough, and we’ll pimp you out. (Um, please note: something legal, and at least close to G-rated. Yeah, we’re ahead of you. We know what you’re like.) Email or Twitter us and tell us about it.
