There have been some questions about how the nominating/voting is going to work, so listen up.

January and February:

For January and February of 2011, the top 2 Female and the top 2 Male vote-getters will represent the months of January and February in the respective Female and Male Hot Blogger Calendars (yes, we’re playing a little game of catch-up here and yes, we are taking care of two months with one voting period). These bloggers will be determined by the votes they receive from the voting period of Monday, March 1 - Friday, March 5 (at which time the 4 winners will be announced). The votes are in! March:

For the 2 bloggers representing March of 2011 in the respective Female and Male Calendars: the nomination period will begin Saturday, March 6 and end Saturday, March 27. The voting period will be Sunday, March 28 – Sunday, April 4(at which time the 2 winners will be announced). The votes are in! March’s crowns go to: The Bloggess and Sex and the Single Dad

April:

For the 2 bloggers representing April of 2011 in the respective Female and Male Calendars: the nomination period will begin Monday, April 6 and end Friday, April 16. The voting period will be Tuesday, April 20 – Friday, April 30 (at which time the 2 winners will be announced). The votes are in! May:

For the 2 bloggers representing May of 2011 in the respective Female and Male Calendars: the nomination period will begin Monday, May 3 and end Saturday, May 15. The voting period will be Wednesday, May 19 – Monday, May 31 (at which time the 2 winners will be announced).

June:

For the 2 bloggers representing June of 2011 in the respective Female and Male Calendars: the nomination period will begin Tuesday, June 1 and end Tuesday, June 15. The voting period will be Wednesday, June 16 – Wednesday, June 30 (at which time the 2 winners will be announced).

July:

For the 2 bloggers representing July of 2011 in the respective Female and Male Calendars: the nomination period will begin Thursday, July 1 and end Thursday, July 15. The voting period will be Friday, July 16 – Saturday, July 31 (at which time the 2 winners will be announced).

August:

For the 2 bloggers representing August of 2011 in the respective Female and Male Calendars: the nomination period will begin Sunday, August 1 and end Sunday, August 15. The voting period will be Monday, August 16 – Tuesday, August 31 (at which time the 2 winners will be announced).

September, October, November and December:

The photo shoot will take place in NYC in September 2011 in order for the calendars to go to print and be ready for shipment by the first week of November 2011, so the bloggers representing September, October, November and December will appointed as follows (this is why it’s important to get nominated and accumulate votes each month, even if you don’t win a particular month before September):

The 2 bloggers representing September of 2011 will be the bloggers with the highest cumulative votes from January-August.

The 2 bloggers representing October of 2011 will be the bloggers with the second highest cumulative votes from January-August.

The 2 bloggers representing November of 2011 will be the bloggers with the third highest cumulative votes from January-August.

The 2 bloggers representing December of 2011 will be the bloggers with the fourth highest cumulative votes from January-August.

See? There’s hope for you yet. After all, just because you don’t win doesn’t mean you’re a loser. Necessarily.
