Blog Readers Now Able to Name the Hottest Bloggers
It’s an Honor Just To Be Nominated. Right?
New York, 8/18/08 – Blog readers choose who they read – but for the first time, they now have the chance to decide which of their favorite bloggers they’d like to LOOK at all year round.
Bloggers Jane Porricelli (www.MomGenerations.com) and Sarah Morgan (www.Sarah-Morgan.com) are teaming up to create the first-ever Hot Blogger Calendar competition (www.HotBloggerCalendar.com). They will debut two distinct calendars for 2009, one with 12 Hot Female Bloggers and one with 12 Hot Male Bloggers, and it is up to the readers to choose who will appear in them.
“Sarah and I are so excited to put this together,” says Porricelli. “It began with a ‘Hottest Male Blogger’ contest on my blog that received a phenomenal response. It showed us that it was simply necessary to celebrate the hotness of the blogosphere.”
Readers are welcome to nominate any blogger(s) they deem hot, whether because of the person’s looks, writing, humor, personality, community impact – or any combination of these qualities. The topics that the bloggers cover can run the gamut – technology, political, celebrity, humor, mom/dad, PR, etc.
The nomination period begins Monday, Aug. 18 at www.HotBloggerCalendar.com and will go through Monday, Aug. 25. At www.HotBloggerCalendar.com, voters can decide which nominees should become finalists, from Monday, Aug. 25 through Monday, Sept. 1.
Winners will be invited to the official Hot Blogger Calendar shoot party on Saturday, Sept. 13 in New York City.
Calendars will be available in early November, with a portion of proceeds donated to charity, making it the hottest feel-good gift for the holidays.
